How it works

No account and no app. A form, then an email.

  1. Send it. Paste the quote, or describe the job. Pick the trade and give the ZIP code. The form takes text only; if your quote is a PDF or you have photos, say so and we ask for them when we write back.
  2. A person reads it. Against a standard scope for that trade: what a quote for this kind of work should name, measure and price.
  3. You get a written note by email. A benchmark note on your quote, or a scoping document for your job. If something is missing to do it, we ask first.
  4. You decide. Send the questions back to your contractor, or hand the scope to contractors you choose. We are not part of the deal.

  • We do not take payment from contractors for referrals.
  • We do not find contractors or get you more quotes. No contractor list sits behind this site.
  • We do not say whether a price is fair. We have no price database yet; the note is about scope and terms.
  • We do not inspect the job, check a license for you, or review a contract’s legal terms.
